So I'm heading to @Cancun next month, super pumped! I've got tickets to a game at the Estadio Olímpico Andrés Quintana Roo, but the seating chart online is... unhelpful, to say the least. I've got tickets to a game at the Estadio Olímpico Andrés Quintana Roo, but the seating chart online is... unhelpful, to say the least. It's like they used a crayon to draw it. Seriously, I can't tell if my seats are going to be nosebleed level or actually close to the action. Anyone been there recently and can give a real-world perspective on the seating? Like, are the higher sections actually that bad? I'm pretty tall, so maybe it won't be too horrific. Anyway, any tips would be greatly appreciated. I don't want to spend the whole game craning my neck.

honestly the upper sections aren't as bad as ppl make it sound if you're tall, you'll have a decent view of the whole field but the legroom is def tight. my buddy who's like 6'2 sat up there last season and said his knees were fine but his shoulders were rubbing against the ppl next to him. if you can snag a seat in the sombra section it'll keep you out of the direct sun which gets brutal by the second half. also the food stalls near gate 3 have better elotes than the ones inside the stadium, just a heads up

yeah the stadium's kinda weird with how steep the upper sections are tbh. if you're tall u might be fine but the rows are tight so your knees could be hitting the seat in front of you. i'd try to get there early and scope out if you can shift to an aisle seat, those have a bit more legroom. also check if your ticket says "preferente" vs "general" cause preferente is the side closer to the field and way better for seeing the whole pitch

my tia subbed there for a semester & said the notebook thing is real but its not about predicting anything. she just recycles the same 5 questions every cycle so by week 3 everyone whos been paying attention already knows whats coming. the actual chaos is the morning shift, kids hopping the fence by the cancha to grab tortas before the 7am bell.

honestly the psychic thing is mostly just kids being dramatic. my neighbor's kid went there and swore she keeps a little notebook with every class's weak spots, like she knows exactly who didnt read the chapter. tbh thats less ESP and more her just paying attention for 20 years. also the lunch chaos is real, that whole stretch near Av. Chac Mool gets nuts around 2pm when everyone spills out.
