Anyone have any tips on how to politely but firmly decline without wasting an entire afternoon? I'd rather be on the beach. Seriously, a full-on ninja-level strategy would be appreciated. I'm already envisioning myself barricaded in my room with room service...

those guys work the marina walkway by the ferry dock too, not just the lobby. if u get the welcome packet with a "member update" card just leave it in the room, dont ask what it is. easier to dodge before they have ur name

the pitch usually comes at the welcome breakfast or when they hand u a "free" excursion voucher at check in. skip the breakfast, it's 90 min of your life u dont get back. if someone in the lobby asks ur room number just say u already did the tour last year, that shuts it down fast

my tia subbed there for a semester & said the notebook thing is real but its not about predicting anything. she just recycles the same 5 questions every cycle so by week 3 everyone whos been paying attention already knows whats coming. the actual chaos is the morning shift, kids hopping the fence by the cancha to grab tortas before the 7am bell.

honestly the psychic thing is mostly just kids being dramatic. my neighbor's kid went there and swore she keeps a little notebook with every class's weak spots, like she knows exactly who didnt read the chapter. tbh thats less ESP and more her just paying attention for 20 years. also the lunch chaos is real, that whole stretch near Av. Chac Mool gets nuts around 2pm when everyone spills out.
