Heard the acoustics are crazy good, like, legendary good. My friend who lives there, he's a huge baseball fan, swore the roar of the crowd is something else entirely. He said it's not just loud, but it resonates, somehow. It feels like the energy of the whole city is amplified in that stadium. Is it really as intense as he claims? I'm hoping to experience that firsthand, but also a bit worried my ears might never recover...

honestly the acoustics thing is real, not just hype. the stadium's design funnels sound back down from the roof so you feel the crack of the bat in your chest. i'd pick a game against the Leones de Yucatan if you can, those fans travel well and the rivalry makes it louder. grab a pescado frito from the vendors outside before you go in, way better than the stuff inside and half the price. your ears will ring for a bit but it's worth it, just don't sit right behind home plate unless you like permanent tinnitus

haha yeah your friend isnt exaggerating. i was at a Tigres game back in february and when they hit a walkoff homer the whole place just vibrated, felt like standing inside a speaker. the roof design traps all the noise so it bounces around for a few seconds before fading, kinda surreal. if you really wanna test your ears sit in the section behind first base, the drummers set up right there and the sound hits u from both sides. also pro tip, the line for the bathrooms on the concourse level gets insane by the 5th inning, use the ones upstairs instead

tbh the resonance thing is partly because the roof is metal and the stands are steep, so sound bounces around like crazy. i went to a Tigres game there last season and the drum section near left field literally shook the bleachers i was sitting on. if you sit in the upper deck on the third base side you get the full effect, your whole body feels it. just don't bother with the micheladas inside, theyre watery and overpriced, grab a cold one from the guys walking around outside before the gates open instead.

Forget about it. He keeps mentioning this one teacher, Señora Rodriguez, who's legendary for her pop quizzes. Seriously, he's convinced she can predict the future. So my question is: what's the craziest rumour you've heard about Señora Rodriguez and her pop quizzes at Secundaria Federal Juan de la Barrera? Is she actually psychic...?

my tia subbed there for a semester & said the notebook thing is real but its not about predicting anything. she just recycles the same 5 questions every cycle so by week 3 everyone whos been paying attention already knows whats coming. the actual chaos is the morning shift, kids hopping the fence by the cancha to grab tortas before the 7am bell.

honestly the psychic thing is mostly just kids being dramatic. my neighbor's kid went there and swore she keeps a little notebook with every class's weak spots, like she knows exactly who didnt read the chapter. tbh thats less ESP and more her just paying attention for 20 years. also the lunch chaos is real, that whole stretch near Av. Chac Mool gets nuts around 2pm when everyone spills out.

I don't know about psychic but a friend swears she once gave a quiz on a chapter nobody had been assigned yet.
