Heard it's got some seriously creepy vibes, locals whisper about strange occurrences. My friend who stayed there said they woke up to the sound of rocks tumbling down the hillside, even though it was a completely still night. They swear they saw shadows moving in the periphery, even though they were alone. The whole place gives off a weird energy. My question is: what's the deal with the persistent feeling of being watched at Arsgan House, even when you're totally alone?

ngl the whole "being watched" thing at Arsgan House is more about the layout than anything paranormal. the main living area has those floor-to-ceiling windows facing the treeline, and at night the glass turns into a mirror so you're basically staring at your own reflection in the dark. i've stayed there twice and the first time i kept jumping at my own silhouette moving in the glass.

also the house sits right where the wind funnels down from the sierra madre foothills, so you get this constant low hum that messes with your head after a few hours. try closing the curtains before sunset and lighting a few candles instead, it changes the whole feel of the place. the caretaker juan told me the original owner actually designed it that way on purpose, wanted guests to feel "the jungle's presence" or whatever.

honestly that feeling of being watched is the main thing everyone who stays there talks about. i think it's the way the house is set into the hill, all those big windows facing the jungle at night reflect the trees and your own movement back at you. plus the wind tunnels through the arroyo seco nearby can sound like footsteps or whispers, especially when it's dead quiet. if it gets too much just turn on every light and put some music on, that usually breaks the spell

yeah the watched feeling is definitely a thing there, but i think a lot of it comes from the house's weird acoustics. the stone walls and high ceilings bounce sound around in a way that makes every little creak or drip echo like it's coming from right behind you. i noticed it mostly in the hallway near the kitchen around midnight, felt like someone was breathing in sync with me but slightly off.

also the property line backs right up to that old cenote trail that locals avoid after dark. the vegetation there is super dense and you can hear rustling from birds or iguanas settling in for the night, which sounds way too human when you're on edge. if you want to test it, try walking the perimeter with a flashlight during the day, you'll see how close the jungle actually is and it'll make the night sounds less spooky

Forget about it. He keeps mentioning this one teacher, Señora Rodriguez, who's legendary for her pop quizzes. Seriously, he's convinced she can predict the future. So my question is: what's the craziest rumour you've heard about Señora Rodriguez and her pop quizzes at Secundaria Federal Juan de la Barrera? Is she actually psychic...?

my tia subbed there for a semester & said the notebook thing is real but its not about predicting anything. she just recycles the same 5 questions every cycle so by week 3 everyone whos been paying attention already knows whats coming. the actual chaos is the morning shift, kids hopping the fence by the cancha to grab tortas before the 7am bell.

honestly the psychic thing is mostly just kids being dramatic. my neighbor's kid went there and swore she keeps a little notebook with every class's weak spots, like she knows exactly who didnt read the chapter. tbh thats less ESP and more her just paying attention for 20 years. also the lunch chaos is real, that whole stretch near Av. Chac Mool gets nuts around 2pm when everyone spills out.

I don't know about psychic but a friend swears she once gave a quiz on a chapter nobody had been assigned yet.
