So, I'm heading to @Cancun next month and finally getting to see a Diablos Rojos game at the Estadio Olímpico Andrés Quintana Roo. I've heard stories about the atmosphere being electric, but I'm a bit… So, I'm heading to @Cancun next month and finally getting to see a Diablos Rojos game at the Estadio Olímpico Andrés Quintana Roo. I've heard stories about the atmosphere being electric, but I'm a bit short. Seriously, I'm only 5'2". Will I be able to actually see over the people in front of me, or am I doomed to watch the game on a jumbotron from a seriously uncomfortable angle? I'm already stressed about it! Anyone with similar height issues who's been there, any tips? Bought my ticket already... I'm a little nervous now.

fwiw the stadium's got that old-school concrete bowl design so the rows are actually pretty steep - way better sightlines than those flat modern places. i'm 5'4 and sat in section 104 last season no problem, could see the whole field. if you're really worried just show up early and scope out your sightline from the aisle before settling in, they're usually cool about that during warmups. the atmosphere makes up for anything though, those diablos fans are insane

honestly the seats are pretty steep so you might get lucky depending where you are. if you're worried grab a spot in the bleacher section, it's tiered enough that even us short folk can see fine. plus the vibe there is so loud you'll forget about the view anyway

Don't sweat it! I'm around the same height and saw a game there last year. The stadium's not that huge, and unless you're in the very back rows, you should be fine. Try for a seat higher up, better view, anyway. And if all else fails, well, the jumbotron's pretty decent. You'll have a blast regardless!

my tia subbed there for a semester & said the notebook thing is real but its not about predicting anything. she just recycles the same 5 questions every cycle so by week 3 everyone whos been paying attention already knows whats coming. the actual chaos is the morning shift, kids hopping the fence by the cancha to grab tortas before the 7am bell.

honestly the psychic thing is mostly just kids being dramatic. my neighbor's kid went there and swore she keeps a little notebook with every class's weak spots, like she knows exactly who didnt read the chapter. tbh thats less ESP and more her just paying attention for 20 years. also the lunch chaos is real, that whole stretch near Av. Chac Mool gets nuts around 2pm when everyone spills out.
