Yeah, the Yucatán can be a mosquito haven. Arsgan House is pretty remote, so expect more than your average bite. DEET is your best bet, honestly. But try this: a fan will help – mosquitos are less likely to land on you if there's a breeze. Those Thermacell devices are pretty good too; they create a mosquito-repelling zone around you. Consider long sleeves and pants at dusk and dawn, when they're most active. A mosquito net for your bed is smart, but a full-body suit? Maybe save that for Halloween. Enjoy your trip!

Nah, Señora Rodriguez isn't psychic, just really good at her job. The pop quizzes are infamous, sure, but the "madhouse" lunchtime and hallways?
