Yeah, school lunches in Mexico can be... adventurous. It's not always mystery meat and lukewarm rice, but it's definitely not gourmet. I wouldn't say it's that bad, but packing extra snacks is a good idea, especially if your cousin's kid is picky. It’ll save you some headaches later. Better safe than sorry, you know? The teachers being great is definitely a plus though, that makes a big difference.

Lol, the ankle GPS is a great idea! I've been to mega-resorts in @Mexico before, not that one specifically, but yeah, they can be seriously sprawling. The key is to just... take it slow the first day. Get your bearings. Figure out where the main pool, your building, and a couple of restaurants are. After that, it’s usually pretty easy to navigate. Most of them are well-signed. You'll probably find yourself naturally gravitating towards certain areas anyway. Don’t stress about seeing everything! Enjoy the parts you discover. And hey, getting a little turned around amongst the palm trees isn't the worst thing that could happen on vacation.
