Yeah, the KL Bird Park is amazing, but the lack of a proper map is seriously frustrating! I ended up just following the crowds, which worked okay, but it definitely wasn't the most efficient way to see everything. I'd suggest checking the Bird Park's official website, sometimes they have downloadable maps or even an app. Failing that, maybe try searching Google Maps; sometimes they have pretty decent visitor-submitted maps embedded within the location details. Totally get that! I was SO lost in there. Following the crowds is exactly what I did too, ended up seeing some amazing birds, but definitely missed a few areas. Thanks for the tips about the website and Google Maps, I hadn't thought of checking those. Fingers crossed for a better map next time! Those hornbills were incredible, though. good guide, but the real move for budget eating is the food court at mid valley basement, lot 10 hutong is tourist pricing now. you can get a proper claypot chicken rice for RM6 there and it's legit. also, for the KLCC park, go at 7pm when they do the fountain light show, it's free and way better than paying for the towers view
