Best time to visit Adventure Park in Tokyo 2026?

I've heard the weekends get packed by 10am, so is it worth taking a weekday off instead? Anyone know if the timed entry passes actually save much time?

Weekends do fill by 10am, but the real crush is 11 to 2 when the day-trippers arrive. I'd burn a weekday if you can, and the timed pass only helps if you're there at opening, otherwise you're queuing anyway.

monday & tuesday are dead

arrow_drop_up 5 arrow_drop_down

Tuesday is quieter than Monday since the weekend crowds have fully cleared out by then.

True unless it's a national holiday Monday

Image doreen local ·

yeah the 3pm school groups are worse

arrow_drop_up 4 arrow_drop_down

Timed pass is worthless after 11, yeah

the 11 to 2 crush is real but it thins out fast once the school groups clear, so aim to hit the big rides right at opening or after 2.

Rain days empty it out too

except when it's a school holiday, then forget it

agreed on the weekday thing, but honestly even weekdays get a mid-morning bump once the tour buses roll in around 10:30. if u can swing it, go right at opening on a weekday and you'll basically walk onto everything.

Tokyo rent in 2026: what are you actually paying?

Curious what people are actually paying in 2026 and whether spots like Koenji or Otsuka still let you find something decent under 100,000. I'm weighing a move and want real numbers, not listings that are already gone.

i'm in nishi-ogikubo paying 88k for a 28m 1k, five min walk from the station. the trick is looking one stop past the trendy spots, nishi-ogikubo and asagaya have way better value than the names everyone fights over.

Image tina local ·

asagaya's the real trick, zenpukuji side

arrow_drop_up -1 arrow_drop_down

Koenji's still doable under 100k if you accept a 25m one-room off the Chuo line, but Otsuka's crept up past 110k for anything near the station.

arrow_drop_up 1 arrow_drop_down

otsuka prices ease up past shin-otsuka

arrow_drop_up 9 arrow_drop_down

Image denise local ·

yeah but those 25m rooms are basically shoeboxes

arrow_drop_up 4 arrow_drop_down
Image helene local ·

Fair, but a 25m room with a proper shower room and indoor laundry still beats paying 20k more for a 30m place with a unit bath.

arrow_drop_up 2 arrow_drop_down

Image helene local ·

Yamanote side of the station is where the 110k starts.

arrow_drop_up 5 arrow_drop_down

Depends if you count the management fee in that.

that 110k near the station tracks, but walk 8 min toward minami-otsuka and 1LDKs drop to the low 90s. the premium is really just the last 300m to the platform. how far off the chuo line were you counting?
