Weeknights, doors at 23:00.

Fair, though Thursday is the stronger of the weeknights, the crowd is more into actual disco than Friday's mixed bag. Entry is usually 2000 to 3000 yen with a drink, and things don't fill out until around 1am.

Thursday does tend to pull the disco heads, though the door staff can be stricter than on other nights. Bring photo ID, they've turned people away for not having it.

True, though the last train home is the real limit, so plan to stay past 5am or budget for a taxi.

Agreed, though the doors often slip to 23:30 so don't stress about arriving right on time.

midweek also means less queue at the coin lockers and a chiller floor early on. wednesdays tend to be quietest if u want room to dance. just check their x account day of, the schedule shifts a lot

their x posts go up around 8pm day of

usually 2300 but mondays they skip it entirely

mondays are staff day off, not a late start

Strobe sits in Shibuya's Dogenzaka, and Saturdays pull the real disco crowd, so arrive by midnight before the door gets picky.

Late night diner food in Tokyo 2026: where to go?

Which parts of Tokyo are actually fine for late diner food around 1 or 2am, and which ones should I avoid walking through at that hour? I'm mostly after a Route 9 Diner type spot, nothing fancy.

Kanda and Ueno are solid for late grub, but skip Roppongi backstreets after 1am, too drunk and pushy.

Shinjuku 3-chome, 2am; avoid Kabukicho backstreets.

Image felizitas local ·

yeah 3-chome is fine but the trick is staying on the Yasukuni-dori side, the moment u drift into the side lanes it gets sketchy. For a proper diner feel at that hour I'd honestly just hit a Matsuya or Sukiya, they're everywhere and open 24h.

Golden Gai's alleys are fine until about midnight, then the touts come out, so stick to the main drag.

Nakameguro, Jonathans about 1.30, quiet walk after.
