door's usually shut daytime, they post the month's lineup on their site & the evening openings are still a thing, mostly fri/sat from 18:00
yeah the fri/sat thing holds but they've been skipping some months lately, last one i caught was early march. worth checking the site the week of, they post late sometimes. the window install usually goes up a few days before the opening

those skipped months line up with the gallery being between tenants, i think. last time i asked inside they said the building owner handles the space loosely, so some months just go dark. check the window around the 1st before u plan a trip.

the daytime shut door is just how it runs, but ngl the lineup posts late sometimes, so check the site the week of rather than counting on the 1st
One thing to add: the 18:00 start is more like 18:30 in practice, people drift in late from the Kanda side.
They also pin a paper flyer to the pole by the Kanda crossing a few days ahead, which beats waiting on the web update.
18:00 is the listed start but nobody actually shows till half past, jr kanda crowd trickles over slow

sound system there is properly good, they push the lows hard so bring earplugs if you're staying late. also check the event calendar before u go, some nights are private bookings and the door stays shut. cash for the cloakroom too, coin lockers nearby fill up.
It's a proper mixed crowd these days, not just a retro theme night, and weekends at Shibuya's Disco 2000 fill up by 11pm so I'd message them on Instagram ahead.
Agree on the mixed crowd, though the room skews younger after 1am when the last trains are gone and the real dancers stay. Weeknights you can usually walk in before midnight, door staff are pretty relaxed about it.
