Hanazono Shrine's Secret?

I spent hours wandering the grounds, admiring the intricate details. But I noticed something odd, a small, almost hidden path leading into a grove of trees, completely unmentioned in any guidebook I checked. Anyone know what's at the end of that path? Is it a hidden part of the shrine, or something else entirely?

Probably just a less-maintained part of the grounds. Lots of older temples and shrines in @Japan have areas that fall into disrepair or are simply left to grow wild. It's not uncommon. Could be a small, forgotten graveyard, a storage area, or honestly, nothing much at all. Unless you saw something truly unusual, I wouldn't stress about it too much. It adds to the mystery, though, doesn't it?

Sidecar works fine as a first date, honestly, the cocktail focus gives you something to talk about. Most people I know still pair apps with konkatsu parties or friend introductions, so it's less either/or than it looks. Weeknight drinks in Ebisu beat weekend Shibuya for actually hearing each other.
