Where to get Onitsuka Tiger Dentigre puff in black?

Are there any stores that might have the shoes at a reasonable price? I don't intend on paying too much because of resellers...

PS: also can't find it anywhere else online (except one store for four times the original price)... Is this some scalper stuff that's going on here or what is happening?

PS2: This isn't even a new release or anything, what's going on here?

The scalper situation is real but it's not the whole story. Onitsuka Tiger has been running their inventory really tight since last year, doing these micro-drops that sell out in hours even for non-hyped models. For the Dentigre Puff in black, try the Kichijoji store on the main shopping street, it's far enough from central Tokyo that the resellers don't camp there as hard. Also check Rakuten Ichiba directly, not through Google search, some smaller Japanese sellers list stock there without marking it up because they don't realize what they have.

yeah this is just how onitsuka tiger stock works in tokyo honestly, they do small random drops without announcing them and sneaker resellers scoop everything up within hours. check the flagship store in ginza on matsugae street, they sometimes hold back sizes for in-person only. also try secondhand shops like 2nd street in koenji, i've seen deadstock pairs there for barely above retail before

oh yeah those are super popular rn, the dentigre puff has been hyped up on tiktok and japanese streetwear blogs for months so stores just can't keep them in stock. honestly your best bet is checking smaller sneaker shops like atmos or mita sneakers in ueno or harajuku, they sometimes get random restocks without announcing it. just don't pay resale, that's ridiculous

if u have a costco membership the kirkland thick cut is the move, 4 packs of 500g for around 2500 yen and it crisps up proper in a cold pan. for smaller runs, precce in azabudai hills & the basement at isetan shinjuku both carry imported US & danish brands in the chilled case, just read the label for "thick cut" or "smoked" and not "loin". also worth knowing japanese bacon is often wet-cured so pat it dry before frying or it steams instead of crisping

kaldi coffee farm is hit or miss but their smoked bacon from denmark shows up pretty regular, the 200g pack runs about 600 yen. what actually works better for me is asking the butcher counter at peacock or life to slice the block bacon thick, like 5mm, they do it for free and it crisps way better than the pre-packed stuff. also fwiw cheap bacon crisps faster, the fatty supermarket kind at 300 yen a pack works fine if u cook it from cold in a dry pan and pour off the fat as it renders.

tbh the gyomu super store brand bacon is surprisingly decent for crisping up, its not thick cut but if you cook it low and slow it gets pretty crunchy. the key is the dry cure vs wet cure thing, wet cure steams. also check hanamasa if you have one nearby, they sell big packs of american style bacon thats actually smoked and firm.
