Adventure Park in Kandivali 2026: still worth it?

thinking of taking my nephew to Adventure Park in Kandivali this weekend. is the water section open in 2026 and how bad are the queues on a Sunday? also any idea on ticket prices at the gate vs online thinking of taking my nephew to Adventure Park in Kandivali this weekend. is the water section open in 2026 and how bad are the queues on a Sunday? also any idea on ticket prices at the gate vs online

Go early in the day, the wave pool gets murky by afternoon once the crowd builds. There's a decent snack stall just outside on Link Road, cheaper than eating in.

that stall does killer vada pav around 11

Ask the stall guy for the vada pav with dry garlic chutney, and skip the wave pool queue entirely until after 3 when the morning rush thins out.

Skip the wave pool after 1pm honestly, it gets rough. Which stall do you mean, the one past the auto stand or nearer the signal?

Water section is running, they reopened it around December after the annual maintenance. Sundays get packed by noon, so reach by 10am or you'll be queuing 30 to 40 minutes per slide. Gate price is around 200 more per head than BookMyShow, book online the night before. Carry a photo ID for the kid's entry, they've gotten strict about it.

arrow_drop_up 1 arrow_drop_down

carry cash too, the card machines there are a joke

arrow_drop_up 5 arrow_drop_down
Image susann local ·

The UPI machines also die, so keep 500 handy.

yeah the ID thing bit us too, they wouldn't let my niece in on a school ID copy. get the original aadhaar or passport. also the locker deposit is 200 cash only, u get it back but come prepared

Weekend slot booking online also saves you the gate queue entirely, the counter line at Charkop side gets long by 9:30. Food inside is overpriced so pack snacks, they allow it in the picnic area near the wave pool.

Bharat on Lamington Road is a decent old-school bar, cheap drinks and no pretension, but it's a locals' peg-and-chakna spot rather than a night out.

arrow_drop_up 5 arrow_drop_down
Image nicole local ·

Fair warning: the kitchen shuts early, so treat it as a drinks stop before 10pm rather than dinner.

arrow_drop_up 1 arrow_drop_down
Image susan local ·

Tuesdays they shut by 9:30.

Image ines local ·

True, and the last order for food is usually around 9:15, so don't bank on a late bite there.

Yeah the peg-and-chakna read is spot on. Only thing I'd add is the AC section upstairs is where you actually want to sit in summer, ground floor gets muggy by 8. For a proper night out most folks I know walk over to the Grant Road side instead.

Image lidia local ·

the chakna spread is the real draw tbh
