Anyone found a reliable setup there, or a nearby cafe that holds up for a full workday? Also curious how late people usually stay before it feels like you're overstaying.

Kofi, Veera Desai Road, back section.

Second this, the corner tables have plugs.

Do they still have that sign saying laptops off after 6? Was there last month and the staff started hovering around 5.30, which felt a bit much for a full workday.

The back section works because it's away from the door and the counter queue, but the plug points there are limited to maybe three tables so go early. Staff start nudging around 6.30, not 6, so a full day is doable if you order lunch and a coffee later.

yeah 6.30 matches what i've seen. one thing tho, the wifi dies harder on the side closest to the kitchen, so grab a table nearer the front of that back section if u can. also the plug by the window seat is dead, been like that for weeks.

Ordering lunch is the real trick, since the 1 to 3 lull is when the wifi actually holds up.

Agree on 6.30, but the 3 plugs are all on the left wall now.

Best deli sandwiches near Sunny Deli in Mumbai 2026

fmd_goodSunny Deli · #mumbai #sandwiches #deli
I'm visiting Mumbai next month and staying close to Sunny Deli. Is it worth a stop for a quick lunch, and what should I order there in 2026? I'm visiting Mumbai next month and staying close to Sunny Deli. Is it worth a stop for a quick lunch, and what should I order there in 2026?

Go before 1pm, the 12:30 office rush clears out the good bread fast and the cold cuts sit warmer by 2.

Ask for the day-old focaccia, half price after 3

arrow_drop_up 1 arrow_drop_down

Midweek is calmer than Saturday, when the queue snakes past the counter by noon.

Havent been to Sunny Deli itself but last trip i stayed near Bandra and honestly the deli sandwiches around there were fine, not mind blowing. If u go, get something with smoked chicken or a simple ham and cheese, the fancier ones get soggy. Prices were around 250 to 350 rupees. Quick lunch yes, dont plan a whole trip around it.

yeah the smoked chicken one holds up better than the fancy stuff

arrow_drop_up 18 arrow_drop_down

True, though I'd say the plain cheese one actually travels better if you're carrying it any distance.
