Dr. Vaidya at Colaba Causeway, cash only.

the clinic itself is cash only but they'll hand u a proper receipt with the diagnosis code so ur insurer back home can reimburse later

Image silvana local ·

Vaidya's off on Sundays, so Saturdays get packed.

his chamber's above the old chemists, second floor

arrow_drop_up 1 arrow_drop_down

Image emily local ·

chamber shuts by 1pm, so mornings only

Image maxie local ·

gt hospital on j.j. marg does cheap walk-in opd mornings, like 200 rupees, but get there by 8am or queue's mad

arrow_drop_up 3 arrow_drop_down
Image svetlana local ·

got there 7.30 instead, token counter opens early

arrow_drop_up 3 arrow_drop_down
Image isabelle local ·

yeah 7.30 is the sweet spot, by 7.45 the token line already snakes past the pharmacy next door

arrow_drop_up 3 arrow_drop_down

Image myriam local ·

south bombay has good walk in clinics near the causeway that take card, but carry cash backup for the smaller ones

arrow_drop_up 1 arrow_drop_down
Image marlis local ·

card machine's often down at the smaller ones, so cash backup is smart

Old Market Hall Mumbai 2026, is it still worth a visit?

fmd_goodOld Market Hall · #stalls #market #mumbai
I've been going to Old Market Hall for years and it's lost some of its old buzz lately. Anyone know if the stalls are still running regular hours in 2026 or if it's mostly shut down now? Crawford Market side still busy, rest winds down by 6.

arrow_drop_up 2 arrow_drop_down
Image rosely local ·

yeah the produce side is still alive but the upper floor stalls pretty much packed up. last i went, most shutters were down by 5:30, so go before lunch if u want the full thing.

arrow_drop_up 2 arrow_drop_down
Image madleine local ·

the upper floor's been dead for months, honestly the ground floor spice and dry fruit stalls are teh only ones worth the trip now

that 6pm thing is optimistic on weekdays tbh. by 4:30 the meat and poultry guys near the Sheikh Memon St entrance are already hosing down teh floors. sunday morning is when it actually feels like the old place.

sundays are a whole different story there, way more alive than weekdays. rest of the week its pretty sleepy by afternoon honestly.
