Afternoon's dead, animals sleep. Morning, 7ish.

arrow_drop_up 4 arrow_drop_down

yeah morning's right, gates open around 7.30 but go closer to 8 so the deer and nilgai are actually moving

arrow_drop_up 2 arrow_drop_down

Book the safari bus online a day ahead.

arrow_drop_up 4 arrow_drop_down

Image regine local ·

Deer vanish once the crowd builds, so 8 works.

arrow_drop_up 6 arrow_drop_down

Image merlinde local ·

agreed, and gates open 7.30 sharp so dont roll in at 8

Image sylviak local ·

SGNP gate, and skip Sundays.

arrow_drop_up -1 arrow_drop_down

true, plus the tiger safari bus fills fast so grab a ticket at the gate the moment u reach.

arrow_drop_up 5 arrow_drop_down
Image adelina local ·

yep, and that queue gets silly on weekends so go on a weekday if u can. also carry cash for the ticket counter, card machine is hit or miss.

arrow_drop_up 2 arrow_drop_down

Image janette local ·

get there by 7.15, counter opens before the gate

arrow_drop_up 5 arrow_drop_down

Image norabethke local ·

before 9 else the heat hits by 10

Is Slice & Co a good first date spot in Mumbai 2026?

fmd_goodSlice & Co · #pizza
Moving to Mumbai in a few months and trying to get a feel for how dating works there. Is grabbing pizza at a place like Slice & Co a normal first date, or do people usually meet somewhere else? Curiou… Moving to Mumbai in a few months and trying to get a feel for how dating works there. Is grabbing pizza at a place like Slice & Co a normal first date, or do people usually meet somewhere else? Curious what surprised outsiders most about dating norms here.
arrow_drop_up 4 arrow_drop_down

slice & co works but pick the bandra one over lower parel, way less echo when it's half empty

arrow_drop_up 4 arrow_drop_down
Image merlinde local ·

agreed on bandra, lower parel gets that mall crowd tho which some people like. bandra one u can actually hear each other talk. book ahead on weekends or u'll be waiting outside.

arrow_drop_up 0 arrow_drop_down

Image susannaber… local ·

bandra's tiny tho so book ahead or you're standing on linking road, lower parel at least has space to wait

arrow_drop_up 1 arrow_drop_down

Pizza's fine but honestly most first dates here happen at a coffee shop or a bar, not a sit down pizza place. Slice & Co works if you already know each other a bit. The bigger surprise for outsiders is how late things start, a 9pm dinner is normal and people don't blink at meeting at 10. Also expect the friend group to weigh in early, that part catches people off guard.

arrow_drop_up 4 arrow_drop_down
Image kavitad local ·

the friend group thing is real, they vet early

arrow_drop_up 1 arrow_drop_down

Image catrin local ·

Yeah the 10pm thing is real, nobody shows before 8:30

arrow_drop_up 0 arrow_drop_down

Coffee shop works early on but the friend group vetting usually kicks in by date three, that's the part nobody warns you about.

arrow_drop_up 5 arrow_drop_down

Image janette local ·

true but nobody warns u about the friend group group chat screenshot thing, that's what actually got me

arrow_drop_up -1 arrow_drop_down

Image marlis local ·

weekday evenings work better than weekends if u want to actually talk, friday sat the good spots are packed & loud by 8. also nobody splits the bill neatly here, one person just pays & u get the next one, so dont overthink the card dance. auto wala will refuse ur area after 11pm btw, book the return before u leave
