Their cold cuts are fresh and the pricing is reasonable for the area, roughly 250 to 350 for a proper sandwich. Anyone else find the queue at lunch gets a bit much around 1pm?

The 1pm crush is real, so I usually swing by around 12:15 or after 2:30, and the chicken tikka on multigrain at 280 is the one I keep going back to.

After 2:30 works better for me too, though I usually grab the ham and cheese instead.

12:15 works but only if you're in and out before the school crowd from Camp hits. i usually do 11:45, gets you teh same sandwich with zero wait. also try the egg mayo on brown bread once, 220 odd, underrated.

Egg mayo is the sleeper pick, though I'd ask for extra pepper and skip the brown bread if it's from yesterday's bake.

chicken tikka sounds solid, try the salami one too

2:30 is cutting it close for me since they start packing up the cold counter by 3, so i aim for 12:15 sharp

arrow_drop_up 2 arrow_drop_down

Grab a token first, counter's quicker that way.

Agree on avoiding 1pm. Saturdays are worse.

2:30 leaves you ten minutes before the cold counter shuts, so I'd push for closer to 12:15 and beat the rush properly.

sunday it's dead quiet there

Is Slice & Co a good first date spot in Mumbai 2026?

Is grabbing pizza at a place like Slice & Co a normal first date, or do people usually meet somewhere else? Curious what surprised outsiders most about dating norms here.

slice & co works but pick the bandra one over lower parel, way less echo when it's half empty

arrow_drop_up 4 arrow_drop_down

Pizza's fine but honestly most first dates here happen at a coffee shop or a bar, not a sit down pizza place. Slice & Co works if you already know each other a bit. The bigger surprise for outsiders is how late things start, a 9pm dinner is normal and people don't blink at meeting at 10. Also expect the friend group to weigh in early, that part catches people off guard.

weekday evenings work better than weekends if u want to actually talk, friday sat the good spots are packed & loud by 8. also nobody splits the bill neatly here, one person just pays & u get the next one, so dont overthink the card dance. auto wala will refuse ur area after 11pm btw, book the return before u leave
