walked past it twice last week, the coffee is the thick unfiltered kind so ask for less sugar or they'll dump it in. baklava is decent but i prefer the one at the irani place off mohammed ali road, fresher. if u go after 8pm expect a wait, tiny seating area

The irani place does a better job with the baklava syrup too, less of it soaking through. If you're going that side, cut through Sutar Chawl rather than the main road, saves you the crush.

shoes come off at the steps, that's non-negotiable. head cover isn't really a thing at most local mandirs here, but keep shoulders & knees covered. go before 8am or after 7pm to skip the aarti rush
