Adventure Park Mumbai 2026: worth the trip from the suburbs?

fmd_goodAdventure Park · #park #mumbai #adventure
I'm visiting Mumbai in March 2026 and thinking of spending a day at Adventure Park. Is it worth the trip out from the city, and what's the best way to get there without a car? march heat makes the water rides the only real draw tbh, so check if they're all open before u commit to that trek

arrow_drop_up 2 arrow_drop_down

yeah check ahead, water park shuts some slides off season

Wave pool shuts for maintenance some mornings, call the day before.

Spot on, and March weekday mornings beat weekends by a mile.

arrow_drop_up 1 arrow_drop_down

last i checked it's out near gorai/mira road side so from the suburbs it's a bit of a haul, train to borivali then a bus or auto. honestly for a visitor with limited days i'd skip it and do something closer unless you're specifically chasing the water rides

gorai side is right but it's actually Global Pagoda road in borivali east, rickshaw from the station is easier than the bus

arrow_drop_up 5 arrow_drop_down

the pagoda road bit is the useful part, most people just say borivali and leave u guessing. rick from the east side is maybe 10 mins if traffic behaves, otherwise the 294 bus drops u closer. get the driver to confirm before u sit

294 drops u on the main road so it's a walk after, ask for the park gate instead

Best way to meet people in Mumbai 2026

I'd rather join something that meets regularly than go to one-off events, so what recurring groups or activities actually work for newcomers? I had pizza at Forno Centrale on my last visit and would love to find a similar casual crowd to hang out with.

Running clubs along Carter Road or the Bandra crowd that meets on weekends tend to work well for repeat faces. I don't live there but that's the pattern I've heard from people who do.

Powai lake loop, 6am Saturdays, different crowd though.

Bandra running groups mostly splinter off into breakfast at a specific cafe after, so showing up twice gets u noticed fast.

khar social, sunday board game meetup

arrow_drop_up 1 arrow_drop_down

Is that the Sunday afternoon one near Khar station? I've heard it skews younger, mid-20s mostly, and people usually drift to a cafe after. Worth knowing it fills up, so message the organiser first.

Image aryanm local ·

yeah it fills up fast, and the organizer usually posts the waitlist on the WhatsApp group a day before, so message early.

mostly mid-20s yeah, but a few of us older regulars too

tbh join a local slf group or a class at a community center, they meet weekly n u keep seeing teh same faces. or just become a regular at one cafe.
