true, it's voluntary under the consumer rules, but the trick is asking before u pay the card slip. once u tap, they act like it's done. at smaller spots in andheri west they usually remove it without a fuss

asking before the slip is key, agreed. smaller places fold fast but the bigger chains near bandra station or linking rd treat it like policy and make u argue for it. i usually just say remove it and if they push back i ask for the manager

extra cheese as a topping is pretty standard here tbh, every place does it. i'd look at the menu rates before paying next time. the service charge thing is a whole other mess lol

700 for loading work, 200 less for counter boys.
Fair rate for the area, though the fruit side near the vegetable gate tends to pay a bit more than the dry goods stalls. Most helpers I know also get a meal thrown in, which matters when rent alone eats half the pay.
