best craft beer bars near Tapped Mumbai 2026
tapped's still the safest bet in andheri but the craft scene has moved south a bit. i'd say check out the bars around lower parel, places like woodside inn and the beer spots near kamala mills do some decent ipas now. not quite the same neighborhood convenience but worth the cab if u want variety. also andheri has a couple new microbrewery taprooms popping up near lokhandwala, haven't tried them yet but the insta pics look promising.
lokhandwala ones are hit or miss, the microbrewery near the gurudwara only does two taps on weekdays
yeah the gurudwara one is basically a tasting room on weekdays, barely worth the auto fare. the one off 14th road near the fitness place actually keeps 5 or 6 taps going all week, better bet if ur set on that area

woodside inn closed their lower parel outlet last year
the lower parel one did shut but the colaba outlet still pulls a decent craft list, though it's more of a sit-down dinner crowd
Kamala Mills ones are pricey but the ipa list holds up.
lower parel cab from andheri runs 350ish post midnight surge so factor that into the "worth it" math
doolally in andheri east is worth the hike, their hefeweizen is better than anything tapped pours tbh. check the veera desai road one not the bandra outlet, less crowded on weekends

the Lalbaugcha Raja pandal stretch on Dr Ambedkar Road gets mobbed during Ganeshotsav, so plan darshan outside those ten days
Ten days is optimistic, try the whole fortnight.
locals call it babulnath not local house btw. gates open around 5.30am for the morning aarti so 6 is fine, closes midday roughly 12 to 4 then reopens till about 9 or 10pm. monday is the big crowd day, avoid it. tuesday & saturday mornings before 8 are the calmest, hardly any queue for darshan
tuesday morning is right but skip the poonam & amavasya dates, those pull a crowd whatever the weekday. also leave ur shoes at the stand near the main gate, they dont let u up barefoot past the steps
Good shout on the shoe stand. Just carry your own bag for them since the counter charges per pair and the queue there gets longer than the darshan line on festival days. Poonam dates fall on different weekdays each month so check the Gujarati calendar before you plan.
Fair point on the name, though the afternoon shutdown shifts a bit during Shravan and Navratri when it stays open through the day.
Chowpatty side gate is quieter than main one.
yeah and the evening aarti around 7 is when it gets packed again
monday rush is really the sunday overflow, so sunday evening after 8 is dead calm too
Gates actually shut closer to 8.30pm on regular days, that 10pm only applies during Margashirsha.
