mokin flavours cafe, anything good near it?
Honestly mokin's is just convenient, nothing special. Walk toward Metro cinema side instead, there's a small bohri mohalla stall setup near the junction most evenings, solid mutton samosas and malpua. Worth the ten min walk.

good call on the timing too, those stalls thin out fast. if u miss it the chai and bun maska at the small shop opposite the junction keeps going till late. nothing fancy but hits right
Malpua sells out first, closer to 7.30.
Mokin is fine for a cheap bite but I wouldn't plan around it. tbh the lane behind it has better stuff. Try the vada pav guy near the station around 5pm, and there's a decent irani chai spot two lanes over. Fort is walkable if u don't mind 15 mins, way more options there.

Budget hotels near Hotel Sai Deep Mumbai 2026
Sai Deep's fine for a night or two but check the room before paying, and honestly the lodges off S.V. Road near Andheri station are cleaner for the same 1200 odd bucks.
yeah the sv road lodges are hit or miss too, the ones closer to the station get noisy at night so ask for a room at the back. i'd also just glance at the bathroom before paying, that's where the reviews usually fall apart
those sv road lodges also jack up rates during cricket season so book early or u end up paying double
true, and off season u can haggle a bit too, i got 900 once in july just by asking at the desk
ask for a room on the 2nd floor, ground floor ones smell damp
The lane behind the station has a couple of places around 1000 that beat both on cleanliness, just avoid the ones with touts hanging outside.
