900 is high, thali places near stations run 250-400

arrow_drop_up 2 arrow_drop_down

Depends on area, Dadar station side hits 450 now.

Matunga side sits closer to 500 with AC.

Those 250-400 rates are for the roadside thali joints around Ghatkopar and Kurla, not a sit-down place like Milan Punjab.

Only for standing counter thalis, seated places double that

For 250-400 you're getting a limited veg thali at a veg place, a proper punjabi thaali with paneer and sweet runs 600+

arrow_drop_up 2 arrow_drop_down

Image merlinde local ·

That range is for the basic veg thali at a no-frills place, whereas paneer and a sweet push it closer to 600 before tax.

900 sounds like the sit-down AC price honestly. Milan Punjab is a proper restaurant, not a street thali stall, so you're paying for the table and service too. Near the station you can def find decent thalis for 300-500 if you're ok with basic seating. If you want a nicer dinner out 900 isnt crazy for 2026.

Mumbai noise complaints 2026: what actually works?

live off Linking Road and the bar noise plus late night construction is doing my head in. anyone actually gotten the ward office or 311 app to do something about it in 2026, or is it just a dead end?… live off Linking Road and the bar noise plus late night construction is doing my head in. anyone actually gotten the ward office or 311 app to do something about it in 2026, or is it just a dead end? curious what actually works before i start filing complaints.

honestly the 311 app logs it but ward guys only move when you cc the ACP on a written complaint, so skip the app for bar noise.

The ACP route works, but you need the bar's exact licence name and timing logged, so hit the excise department too.

excise licence number is printed on the board outside the bar, photograph it plus a timestamped video before filing with the state excise office at Churchgate

Khar station cop shop, 11pm shift.

arrow_drop_up 3 arrow_drop_down

Ask for the night beat marshal's name at the counter, since the shift changes and the register entry matters more than who you speak to.

arrow_drop_up 5 arrow_drop_down

Image josefine local ·

go a bit earlier tbh, by 11 the beat marshal's already on rounds and the counter guy just nods

arrow_drop_up 1 arrow_drop_down

Image milli local ·

yeah and attach the complaint number from ur earlier 311 log so the ACP sees it's a repeat, single fresh complaint gets ignored

arrow_drop_up 1 arrow_drop_down
Image adelina local ·

right, and keep every 311 ref number in one note on ur phone, ward clerks lose the old ones when the register gets rebound. also mention how many nights it happened, like "9 of last 14", that pattern line is what pushes it past a one-off.
