Best all day breakfast near The Daily Plate Mumbai 2026?

Anyone… I stay two lanes off Linking Road and The Daily Plate has become my default for a late breakfast, the eggs and filter coffee are dependable and it's easier on the wallet than the Bandra places. Anyone know if they've changed their weekend hours for 2026, I showed up at 8 last Sunday and the shutters were still down.
arrow_drop_up 3 arrow_drop_down

Weekend shutters go up at 8:30 now, so 8 was just early, not closed.

yeah 8:30 on Sat too not just Sunday

arrow_drop_up 10 arrow_drop_down

good to know, was gonna try a weekday next

arrow_drop_up 2 arrow_drop_down

Monday is the odd one, they open at 9 not 8:30. Kitchen takes another 15 min after that so don't bother before 9:15 if u want a hot plate.

arrow_drop_up 1 arrow_drop_down

Image marlis local ·

sat is the busier one tbh, sunday you can stroll in

arrow_drop_up 2 arrow_drop_down

Image susannaber… local ·

sunday's the safer bet

arrow_drop_up 1 arrow_drop_down

Image biggi local ·

They also shut early around 3 on sat

arrow_drop_up 3 arrow_drop_down

Image britatisch… · · -4

fair enough, that explains it. fwiw the 8:30 thing only starts once the bread guy shows up, so some mornings it's closer to 8:45. don't bank on it being exact.

Best bagels near Hole in One Mumbai 2026?

fmd_goodHole in One · #mumbai #sandwich #bagels
visiting mumbai next month & staying near Hole in One, is the bagel situation there actually good or should i look elsewhere? also what's a fair price for a bagel sandwich around that area in 2026 visiting mumbai next month & staying near Hole in One, is the bagel situation there actually good or should i look elsewhere? also what's a fair price for a bagel sandwich around that area in 2026

Most places near there are bakeries doing buns not real bagels, so check Colaba Causeway side lanes instead. Budget 250 to 300 for a decent sandwich, anything over 400 is tourist tax. Go early, stock runs out by noon.

Fair on the bun point, but check the Fort side near Bombay House instead, way fresher stock after 4pm.

arrow_drop_up 3 arrow_drop_down

those causeway side lanes are mostly bun places too tbh, the real bagel spots sit closer to the Sassoon Dock end. 250 to 300 is about right but watch for places charging extra for cream cheese, thats where they get u

arrow_drop_up 4 arrow_drop_down
Image brita local ·

cream cheese upcharge is real, ask for it on the side or you're paying 80 extra for a smear

arrow_drop_up 2 arrow_drop_down

Image rahel local ·

Bakeries there do decent laadi pav though, so grab one warm at 15 rupees and skip the bagel hunt entirely.

arrow_drop_up 2 arrow_drop_down

The bagel scene near Hole in One is thin, honestly, so walk ten minutes to Kala Ghoda for a proper one at around 350 to 450 rupees.

arrow_drop_up 4 arrow_drop_down

yeah walking is smarter than dealing with the one way chaos on colaba causeway, but honestly 350 to 450 is steep for what you get, i'd rather grab a bombay sandwich at a stall for 80 bucks. if u really want the bagel though, go before 11 or the good ones are gone

arrow_drop_up 3 arrow_drop_down

kala ghoda is right but skip the fancy cafes on the main stretch, try the lane behind rhythym house. expect 300 max, & tbh their everything bagel sells out by 10am so set an alarm

arrow_drop_up 15 arrow_drop_down

Rhythm House lane, go 8am instead

ask for the sesame, sells out right after
