Smoke & Stone's weekend slots go fast, book 3-4 days ahead honestly. Get the lamb chops and the charred broccoli. Cab from Bandra takes 25 min via the sea link, just watch the evening traffic.

book by thursday night, fridays vanish first

arrow_drop_up 19 arrow_drop_down

yeah thursday is right, but call them directly instead of the app, they hold a few tables for walk-ins and phone bookings

counter seats facing the tandoor are the real move, & ask for the smoked prawns off-menu if they still do them

arrow_drop_up 1 arrow_drop_down

the sea link toll is the real delay tbh

25 min is optimistic on a friday, add 15 for the sea link crawl. bandra side you're better off leaving by 7. parking there is a mess so just keep the cab waiting.

Haji Ali junction is the real bottleneck, not the toll.

arrow_drop_up 1 arrow_drop_down

Lamb chops aside, the smoked prawns off-menu are the actual order, and skip the sea link route after 8.

Weekend dinner there is genuinely worth it but the lunch thali is the smarter booking, same grill, half the crowd. Ask for the counter seats if you go evenings, watching the tandoor work is half the fun.

Lunch thali is the smarter call, agreed, but they only run it till about 3 so don't roll in at 2:45 expecting the full spread. Ask for a table near the open kitchen either way, the afternoon crowd is thin enough that they'll usually oblige.

I want to sell my old clothes

arrow_drop_up 123 arrow_drop_down

have u tried the chor bazaar route? not for selling to shops but the friday morning flea guys near mumbadevi, some of them buy vintage/retro pieces outright and pay better than the bale walas if ur stuff has any character. got 800 for a bunch of old levi's and band tees there. thing is u gotta go early like 6am and know how to hold ur ground, they smell desperation instantly

one thing nobody mentioned, watch out for the weight vs piece thing. kabadiwalas and bale buyers pay by kilo so heavy stuff like denim and woolens actually earn more than fancy light stuff. i cleared a whole bag of old jeans to a guy in Malad for way better than what my branded shirts fetched. also wash everything before u show it, sounds obvious but dusty clothes get lowballed on sight.

arrow_drop_up 5 arrow_drop_down

honestly the timing matters more than the platform. end of month is when people get salary and actually buy, so list ur stuff around the 1st or 2nd. also post pics in natural light near a window, not on ur bed with flash, makes a huge difference on OLX and insta thrift pages. i've flipped a lot of my old stuff this way and the same kurta that got ignored at 300 sold for 500 when i relisted it properly.
