Best steak in Mumbai near Ironhouse Steaks 2026

If you're planning a weekend dinner, book ahead because the place fills up fast after 8 and the kitchen runs out of the good cuts. Anyone else find the sides a bit hit or miss there?

If you're in Andheri anyway, drive 10 min to Rare Earth near Hill Road for a quieter room and a solid ribeye. Their pepper sauce is better than Ironhouse's imo. Parking on Hill Road is a nightmare after 7 though, so go early.

valet at the bandra end is the actual move

Honestly their bread basket before the steak is what keeps me coming back, ask for it warm.

arrow_drop_up 10 arrow_drop_down

warm bread with that garlic butter is half the reason i book a table at all, just dont fill up before the ribeye arrives

the creamed spinach is teh weak spot, skip it

yeah that spinach is watery every time. their truffle mac is the one side worth ordering though, and the onion rings hold up if u get them fresh. stick to the meat basically

arrow_drop_up 4 arrow_drop_down

agreed, that spinach tastes like it came out of a freezer bag, ask for extra bread instead

Soggy every time, order it only if you like soup.

Spot on, though their mashed potatoes are just as forgettable, so I'd build the meal around the meat and the bread.

creamed corn carries the sides, ask for it

I want to sell my old clothes

arrow_drop_up 44 arrow_drop_down

have u tried the chor bazaar route? not for selling to shops but the friday morning flea guys near mumbadevi, some of them buy vintage/retro pieces outright and pay better than the bale walas if ur stuff has any character. got 800 for a bunch of old levi's and band tees there. thing is u gotta go early like 6am and know how to hold ur ground, they smell desperation instantly

one thing nobody mentioned, watch out for the weight vs piece thing. kabadiwalas and bale buyers pay by kilo so heavy stuff like denim and woolens actually earn more than fancy light stuff. i cleared a whole bag of old jeans to a guy in Malad for way better than what my branded shirts fetched. also wash everything before u show it, sounds obvious but dusty clothes get lowballed on sight.

honestly the timing matters more than the platform. end of month is when people get salary and actually buy, so list ur stuff around the 1st or 2nd. also post pics in natural light near a window, not on ur bed with flash, makes a huge difference on OLX and insta thrift pages. i've flipped a lot of my old stuff this way and the same kurta that got ignored at 300 sold for 500 when i relisted it properly.
