ICICI atm inside the mall, ground floor

Is that the one by the escalators on the ground floor? Used it last month, it takes foreign cards fine but caps withdrawals around 10k per transaction. Good enough if you're only shopping a day.

that one's fine but the queue gets long on weekends so go before noon & carry ur passport copy just in case

Ground floor one sits past the perfume counters near the loo, and it's usually empty before 11am.

international cards work fine at the big stores in Central, but teh small stalls near the food court are cash or UPI only. ATMs on Linking Rd and near the station take foreign cards, though watch the Rs 200+ fee.

arrow_drop_up 4 arrow_drop_down

yeah and the food court itself takes cards now, just ask

true but a couple of counters still swipe only, so ask before u order or you'll be hunting for an atm mid-meal

arrow_drop_up 1 arrow_drop_down

Cash works better for the pavement stalls on the Tardeo side, and HDFC's ATM by the main gate is the one that reliably takes foreign cards.

the mall-side Axis ATM dispenses in 500s only which is annoying for small buys, so break notes at a big store counter first

I want to sell my old clothes

arrow_drop_up 22 arrow_drop_down

have u tried the chor bazaar route? not for selling to shops but the friday morning flea guys near mumbadevi, some of them buy vintage/retro pieces outright and pay better than the bale walas if ur stuff has any character. got 800 for a bunch of old levi's and band tees there. thing is u gotta go early like 6am and know how to hold ur ground, they smell desperation instantly

one thing nobody mentioned, watch out for the weight vs piece thing. kabadiwalas and bale buyers pay by kilo so heavy stuff like denim and woolens actually earn more than fancy light stuff. i cleared a whole bag of old jeans to a guy in Malad for way better than what my branded shirts fetched. also wash everything before u show it, sounds obvious but dusty clothes get lowballed on sight.

honestly the timing matters more than the platform. end of month is when people get salary and actually buy, so list ur stuff around the 1st or 2nd. also post pics in natural light near a window, not on ur bed with flash, makes a huge difference on OLX and insta thrift pages. i've flipped a lot of my old stuff this way and the same kurta that got ignored at 300 sold for 500 when i relisted it properly.
