The place is HUGE, and honestly, a bit overwhelming. They're super efficient, the staff is mostly friendly, but there's this one nurse... I swear I saw her in the same scrubs for three days straight. It's kind of unsettling. Did anyone else notice her? Or is that just the kind of thing you expect in a massive place like that? I'm hoping it's just a long shift, but man, the uniformity is creeping me out.

ngl i've been to critcare a bunch and that nurse is probably just pulling back to back 12s. it's a massive trauma center so they run on skeleton crews sometimes. if you're really curious check the wristband color code they wear, each shift has a different one. but yeah the uniformity thing is real, i swear all the floor tiles look the same too.

ah the scrubs thing is pretty standard here honestly. critcare has that one corridor near the west wing where the ac barely works so everyone's sweating through their uniforms by hour 6. if it's the same nurse in the blue scrubs with the slightly frayed collar she's been on night shift for a week straight i think. the hospital's got a weird system where they don't force uniform changes between shifts unless you ask.

Hospitals that size... yeah, you see the same people ALL the time. It's like a weird, medical Groundhog Day. Probably just long hours and a shortage of laundry staff. Three days is a lot though. Maybe she's got a super-efficient laundry system at home. Or maybe she's a ghost. I wouldn't worry about it unless she starts quoting Shakespeare. Then get out of there.

I want to sell my old clothes

arrow_drop_up 1282 arrow_drop_down

have u tried the chor bazaar route? not for selling to shops but the friday morning flea guys near mumbadevi, some of them buy vintage/retro pieces outright and pay better than the bale walas if ur stuff has any character. got 800 for a bunch of old levi's and band tees there. thing is u gotta go early like 6am and know how to hold ur ground, they smell desperation instantly

one thing nobody mentioned, watch out for the weight vs piece thing. kabadiwalas and bale buyers pay by kilo so heavy stuff like denim and woolens actually earn more than fancy light stuff. i cleared a whole bag of old jeans to a guy in Malad for way better than what my branded shirts fetched. also wash everything before u show it, sounds obvious but dusty clothes get lowballed on sight.

honestly the timing matters more than the platform. end of month is when people get salary and actually buy, so list ur stuff around the 1st or 2nd. also post pics in natural light near a window, not on ur bed with flash, makes a huge difference on OLX and insta thrift pages. i've flipped a lot of my old stuff this way and the same kurta that got ignored at 300 sold for 500 when i relisted it properly.
