solid breakdown, i've been coming to dhanbad for work for a few years now and one area i'd add is the stretch along purulia road near the new bus stand. it's a bit out of the main city but there are a few decent hotels like hotel green park where rooms go for about 2000 and you get actual peace at night cause it's away from the station noise. plus there's a dhaba called baba ka dhaba right next to it that does amazing chicken curry and rumali roti till late, way better than the hotel room service
the chole bhature mention is perfect but for anyone craving south indian stuff, there's a small place called anna's cafe in hirapur near the reliance smart point. they make proper filter coffee and the masala dosa is legit, not the weird north indian version you get elsewhere. costs around 150 for a full meal and they're open for breakfast and lunch only
