For the silver market, skip the shops right on Mal Godown Bazar main road and go one lane behind it, the prices drop by at least INR 100 on similar pieces because those stalls have less foot traffic. Also, if you are near the Barabati Fort area around 6 AM, the ghats are quiet and you can sometimes see local fishermen bringing in their catch, makes for a good photo without anyone in the frame.
good list. one thing i'd add is that the bus from badambadi to the balikuda beach stop is actually route 47 and it runs every 20 mins, costs inr 12, and the conductor will usually point u where to get off if u tell him beach. also for the cheap eats, dalma's thali is great but if u want something lighter the chhena poda at the little stall next to the bus stand in buxi bazar is inr 15 and they make it fresh every morning, tastes way better than the packaged stuff. and if u're doing the heritage walk, the guide mentioned the stepwell but didn't say there's a tiny hanuman shrine inside it that locals still light lamps at, kinda neat to peek in
