preferably in Neukölln preferably in Neukölln

honestly, i'd try dresdner fitness club on dresdener straße. they're not exclusively kickboxing but they have bag classes and some striking workshops that are in english and very beginner friendly. the crowd is mostly women and its like 10€ per session if you buy a 10er card. way cheaper than boxtempel and you dont have to deal with the u-bahn

There's a place called Kuma Boxing near Hermannplatz that runs small group sessions in english. It's not exclusively women-only but the owner makes sure the classes stay balanced and the vibe is respectful. They do a proper kickboxing technique focus rather than just fitness bag work, which I prefer. A single class is 18 euros or you can get a 5-class card for 75.

if you're open to a short bike ride, tiger gym on flughafenstraße has a friday evening women's kickboxing session that's taught in english. it's a proper boxing gym, not a fitness studio, so the bags are good and the floor is clean. drop-in is 15 euros and they sell punch cards at the front desk. the instructor is a british woman who used to fight amateur, she keeps it technical but not intense. just check their insta before going because they sometimes cancel for holidays without updating the website

What is the correct spelling for a street name that appears differently on multiple signs in Charlottenburg?

I noticed that the street name is spelled differently on three separate signs in the Charlottenburg area. Can anyone confirm the correct official spelling and whether this is a known issue? Worth noting that Berlin street names have official umlaut and ß rules that trip people up, so a sign showing "Strasse" versus "Straße" is not actually a spelling error, just an older transcription. Same with "ue" versus "ü" (e.g. "Kantstrasse" vs "Kantstraße"), both are considered valid renderings and you'll see the ß version on the blue Schilder and the ss version on older plaques or in databases that predate Unicode. If the difference you're seeing is between those two forms, there's nothing to fix and both are technically correct.

if the signs u mean are the old enamel ones on the house facades those are often protected as Baudenkmal so nobody's allowed to correct them even if the spelling is outdated. the binding version is whatever is in the Berliner Strassenverzeichnis plus the entry in the Liegenschaftskataster, so if u tell me the street i can point u to the right Bezirksamt Mitte or Charlottenburg-Wilmersdorf page. tbh the merged district thing is real but the facade signs are a separate story, theyre basically museum pieces at this point

honestly thats super common in Charlottenburg, the district offices were merged from older Bezirke and nobody ever fixed all the Schilder. if its a real street you can check the official strassenverzeichnis on berlin.de, that list is what the Burgeramt actually goes by. which street is it? some of the Kaiserdamm / Kantstrasse signs are notorious for this.
