Any physical stores to buy tiles from except obi, bauhaus, hellweg?

Anyone can recommend any stores besides the ones i mentioned?

another angle: hit up a küchenstudio or a küchenbauer directly. they order tiles in small batches all the time for splashbacks, so they often have offcuts or samples lying around they'll sell cheap. ask at one in your area, like küchen aktuell in charlottenburg, they had a bin of leftover tiles last time i was there. also, if you're not set on ceramic, look at a glaserei for a glass splashback cut to size, around 1sqm it's actually pretty affordable and you can match any tone perfectly. honestly for that tiny area, a custom glass panel might be less hassle than hunting down the exact tile.

for such a small amount honestly check kleinanzeigen first, people sell leftover tiles all the time for cheap, often same batch so no color mismatch. if u want new though, go to fliesen-discount on hermannstr in neukölln, they have a proper showroom and sell singles, plus the staff actually knows their stuff.

also there's a smaller place called fliesen becker in spandau, hidden in a backyard, massive selection but it's a bit of a trek. they do cut-offs and returns so u might get lucky with exactly 1sqm worth.

check fliesen keller on frankfurter allee, it's a bit oldschool but they let u take samples home for a few euros. for 1sqm honestly most big box stores won't even sell u that little, they push full boxes. another option is m&m fliesen in tempelhof, they have a small outlet section with discontinued stuff, u can often grab a single box for like 20 bucks. also if u're near kreuzberg, tegel's has a tiny showroom but they're more into natural stone, might have something left over. take a photo of ur kitchen counter with u, the lighting in stores is always weird and it helps to compare on ur phone screen

What is the correct spelling for a street name that appears differently on multiple signs in Charlottenburg?

I noticed that the street name is spelled differently on three separate signs in the Charlottenburg area. Can anyone confirm the correct official spelling and whether this is a known issue? Worth noting that Berlin street names have official umlaut and ß rules that trip people up, so a sign showing "Strasse" versus "Straße" is not actually a spelling error, just an older transcription. Same with "ue" versus "ü" (e.g. "Kantstrasse" vs "Kantstraße"), both are considered valid renderings and you'll see the ß version on the blue Schilder and the ss version on older plaques or in databases that predate Unicode. If the difference you're seeing is between those two forms, there's nothing to fix and both are technically correct.

if the signs u mean are the old enamel ones on the house facades those are often protected as Baudenkmal so nobody's allowed to correct them even if the spelling is outdated. the binding version is whatever is in the Berliner Strassenverzeichnis plus the entry in the Liegenschaftskataster, so if u tell me the street i can point u to the right Bezirksamt Mitte or Charlottenburg-Wilmersdorf page. tbh the merged district thing is real but the facade signs are a separate story, theyre basically museum pieces at this point

honestly thats super common in Charlottenburg, the district offices were merged from older Bezirke and nobody ever fixed all the Schilder. if its a real street you can check the official strassenverzeichnis on berlin.de, that list is what the Burgeramt actually goes by. which street is it? some of the Kaiserdamm / Kantstrasse signs are notorious for this.
