Daily helicopters around Friedrichshain?

For days now there's been a lot of helicopter activity. It even happens at night or 2am. I can't find any information online. Anyone know what's happening? It might be the Bundeswehr, they've been running night training rotations out of the airfield at Gatow and sometimes route over the east side. I've seen them on Flightradar as "GAF" callsigns, they don't always show up on the police feeds. Also worth checking the Berliner Morgenpost's live blog, they cover noise complaints and operations faster than official channels. If it's a single helicopter orbiting tight and low, that's usually a search, but if it's transiting straight through, it's likely just someone on the way to the helipad at Vivantes or the one on the roof of the DRK Kliniken in Mitte.

honestly it's prob the police helicopter from the station on Tempelhofer Feld, they do training flights at weird hours sometimes. but if it's been every night for days that's unusual, maybe something specific to the area around Warschauer or Boxi. check the Berlin police twitter for "Lagebild" updates, they usually post if there's an ongoing operation

same here, i live near boxi and it's been loud af. not every night but enough that i noticed. there's a helipad at vivantes friedrichshain hospital on landsberger allee, sometimes they land there for emergencies but those are usually quick. the weird part is when they circle for 20 min, that's usually police doing something around the ostkreuz direction. if u want, download the app "radar24" but set it to filter for helicopters, otherwise u'll get all the planes. also check the berlin pcr twitter, they sometimes post about "polizeieinsatz" with a district tag, even if it's minor. could also be the bundespolizei doing border patrol stuff near the s-bahn tracks, they do random checks at night. honestly i stopped stressing, it's been like this since summer

What is the correct spelling for a street name that appears differently on multiple signs in Charlottenburg?

I noticed that the street name is spelled differently on three separate signs in the Charlottenburg area. Can anyone confirm the correct official spelling and whether this is a known issue? Worth noting that Berlin street names have official umlaut and ß rules that trip people up, so a sign showing "Strasse" versus "Straße" is not actually a spelling error, just an older transcription. Same with "ue" versus "ü" (e.g. "Kantstrasse" vs "Kantstraße"), both are considered valid renderings and you'll see the ß version on the blue Schilder and the ss version on older plaques or in databases that predate Unicode. If the difference you're seeing is between those two forms, there's nothing to fix and both are technically correct.

if the signs u mean are the old enamel ones on the house facades those are often protected as Baudenkmal so nobody's allowed to correct them even if the spelling is outdated. the binding version is whatever is in the Berliner Strassenverzeichnis plus the entry in the Liegenschaftskataster, so if u tell me the street i can point u to the right Bezirksamt Mitte or Charlottenburg-Wilmersdorf page. tbh the merged district thing is real but the facade signs are a separate story, theyre basically museum pieces at this point

honestly thats super common in Charlottenburg, the district offices were merged from older Bezirke and nobody ever fixed all the Schilder. if its a real street you can check the official strassenverzeichnis on berlin.de, that list is what the Burgeramt actually goes by. which street is it? some of the Kaiserdamm / Kantstrasse signs are notorious for this.
