Where to buy organic beef tallow (Bio Rindertalg)?

Is that possible anywhere in Berlin (preferably around Kreuzberg, Tempelhof, Schöneberg, Neukölln, Mitte, Friedrichshain)? Is that possible anywhere in Berlin (preferably around Kreuzberg, Tempelhof, Schöneberg, Neukölln, Mitte, Friedrichshain)?

If you strike out at the butcher shops, try an Apotheke angle instead. Some Reformhäuser and Bio-Läden around Schöneberg stock Rindertalg in jars, usually near the cooking fats, and Alnatura on Hauptstraße sometimes has it but it sells out fast so call ahead. For pure rendered stuff you can also order from Bio-Großhandel places like Ökoring or Terra Naturkost, they deliver to Berlin and it's cheaper per kilo than buying small jars. Just check the label says "zum Verzehr geeignet" if you want to cook with it and not just use it for skincare.

check the türkische läden around obentrautstraße in kreuzberg, they sell don yağı cheap & fresh but u have to ask for the unfiltered one, the jars on the shelf are usually the hydrogenated version. for actual bio cert the bio company on bergmannstraße sometimes carries rindertalg in the fridge near the butter, though it comes and goes. ngl for cooking i'd just render your own from bio rindfett, domke sells the raw fat way cheaper than any pre-rendered jar

tbh your best bet is a proper butcher rather than a supermarket. Try Kumpel & Keule in the Markthalle Neun (Kreuzberg) or Fleischerei Domke on Gärtnerstraße in Friedrichshain, they sell Bio Rindertalg if you ask, sometimes its not on display so just tell them what u need. Another option is Turkish or Arab butchers around Neukölln, they often have tallow (don yağı) but not always bio certified. Around Tempelhof the Wochenmarkt on Leberstraße has an organic meat stall that usually stocks it on Saturdays.

What is the correct spelling for a street name that appears differently on multiple signs in Charlottenburg?

I noticed that the street name is spelled differently on three separate signs in the Charlottenburg area. Can anyone confirm the correct official spelling and whether this is a known issue? Worth noting that Berlin street names have official umlaut and ß rules that trip people up, so a sign showing "Strasse" versus "Straße" is not actually a spelling error, just an older transcription. Same with "ue" versus "ü" (e.g. "Kantstrasse" vs "Kantstraße"), both are considered valid renderings and you'll see the ß version on the blue Schilder and the ss version on older plaques or in databases that predate Unicode. If the difference you're seeing is between those two forms, there's nothing to fix and both are technically correct.

if the signs u mean are the old enamel ones on the house facades those are often protected as Baudenkmal so nobody's allowed to correct them even if the spelling is outdated. the binding version is whatever is in the Berliner Strassenverzeichnis plus the entry in the Liegenschaftskataster, so if u tell me the street i can point u to the right Bezirksamt Mitte or Charlottenburg-Wilmersdorf page. tbh the merged district thing is real but the facade signs are a separate story, theyre basically museum pieces at this point

honestly thats super common in Charlottenburg, the district offices were merged from older Bezirke and nobody ever fixed all the Schilder. if its a real street you can check the official strassenverzeichnis on berlin.de, that list is what the Burgeramt actually goes by. which street is it? some of the Kaiserdamm / Kantstrasse signs are notorious for this.
