solid guide overall, one thing i'd add is the cold rice noodles from the lady with the cart near the east gate of the park on wenming avenue around 5pm, she's been there for like a decade and her sesame sauce is homemade, only 5 yuan a bowl. also the fried dough stick vendor mentioned is good but the one two blocks south on wenhua road does a version with a slight sweetness that pairs better with the soy milk in my opinion, costs the same 2 yuan

I've done this exact itinerary and it works well, but I will say the Mingyue Mountain cable car line moves faster if you go on a weekday. I went on a Tuesday and waited maybe 15 minutes tops.

One thing I'd add is the Yichun Museum has a small second floor exhibit on the local papermaking tradition that most people walk right past. It's worth the extra 20 minutes, especially if you're interested in how they use bamboo for more than just food.

For the Xiushui River promenade at night, the lights come on around 6:30pm in spring, but in autumn it's closer to 5pm. I made that mistake and ended up walking it in the dark the first time.

This is a solid itinerary, I've done almost the exact same loop. The Old Street Food Market on Zhongshan Road is good but if you want a really intense bowl of rice noodles, head to the small shop two blocks east of Wuyi Square called Sister Chen's, it's open until about 11am and the broth is richer. For Day 2, the Glass Skywalk at Mingyue can get crowded by 10am, so I'd recommend taking the 7am bus 118 to beat the tour groups and have the views to yourself for a while. The Tianmu Hot Springs are worth it after that hike, just bring your own towel since the rental fee there is an extra 10 yuan.
