If you go, ask for Lao Wang at the third kiln on the left he's been working clay for forty years and will show you how to throw a proper bowl for no extra charge. One thing I'd add is that the shadow puppet show gets crowded fast even on weekdays, so buy your ticket by 7:00 PM if you want a seat near the front. The grilled lamb at the night market is good but the skewers from the stall next to the big red lantern are a bit spicier and worth the extra yuan.
I'd add that the pottery village is worth combining with a stop at the Xifeng District Farmers Market about ten minutes further south on bus 101. It's open weekday mornings until noon and you can pick up fresh goji berries and honey straight from the growers for half what you'd pay at the night market. The hand-pulled noodles at Laoma are great but if you want a lighter option, try the cold sesame noodles at the stall two doors down. They're 8 RMB and the owner makes her own chili oil that's smoky without being too hot.
that guide is pretty thorough, one thing i'd add is the morning market near the east gate around 7am, it's not in most guides but there's a lady selling youtiao fresh out of the oil for 1 yuan each and they're still crispy by the time you walk to the confucius temple. also if you're doing the pottery village, the bus 101 ride itself is kind of fun, goes through some older neighborhoods where you can see people drying chilies on their rooftops. the shadow puppet show is good but honestly the best part is the little museum room they have in the back with puppets from the 1800s, the ticket includes access but most people miss it

ngl the nature lovers section is underselling the zhou ancestral temple area a bit. if you're into hiking, skip the eco-lodge and look for a farm stay on the south side of the temple - there's a family that rents out rooms for like 180 a night and they'll pack you a lunch for the trail up to the loess plateau overlook. the view from up there at sunrise is nuts, way better than anything you'd get from a hotel window. just bring cash, the farm stays don't take cards and the nearest atm is a 20 min bus ride back into town
one thing i don't see mentioned is that the ramada encore has a rooftop bar with a solid view of the city skyline at night, not fancy but good for a beer after work. if you're in the business district, skip the hotel breakfast and walk two blocks east to the little dumpling shop on changqing avenue, they do lamb and chive jiaozi for like 12 yuan a dozen and it's way better. also the bus from the railway station to the loess plateau takes about an hour but it's only 10 yuan, just make sure you catch the one that says "s202" on the front or you'll end up in a different county
the nightlife hub tip is decent but fair warning - nanmen square gets loud til like 2am especially on weekends so dont book there if ur a light sleeper. the ramada encore is actually my go-to for work trips, their business center has a printer that actually works which is rare in qingyang. one thing i havent seen mentioned is that the east bus station near donghu park has direct buses to the zhou ancestral temple for like 15 yuan, way cheaper than a taxi
