honestly just walk if you're staying near the center, it's a small enough city that most stuff is within 20-30 mins on foot. the bus is fine for the main drag but it gets confusing with the routes once you go past the train station. ride shares are cheap here too, like 20-30 yuan to get across town, so i wouldn't overthink it. if you're heading to the night market area off Wenhua Road, walking is actually faster than waiting for a bus anyway.

If you're staying central, you can walk most places within twenty minutes, that's what I do.

yeah the buses are kinda hit or miss tbh. i'd just rent a bike or scooter if u can, way easier to get around and u avoid waiting around
