solid guide, covers the main spots well. one thing i'd add for day 2: instead of taking the yungu cable car down at noon, consider going down the other side via the yuping cable car if the weather's clear. you'll pass the famous welcoming pine on the way and end up at a different base where buses back to tangkou still run easily.
also, for the west sea grand canyon, try to hit it right after sunrise before the tour groups swarm in. the plank walk gets packed by 8am and it's way less fun shuffling behind a hundred people in single file. i did that loop in about 2.5 hours by moving quick and skipping the side trail to the sea-to-sky bridge.

yeah the west sea grand canyon loop is great but if you're short on time or energy, just do the one-way section from paiyun ting to the bottom and take the little tram back up. it's 100 RMB for the tram but saves you like 2 hours of climbing back up the stairs and your knees will thank you. the cliffside plank path is the best part anyway and you get all the views without the full loop
also if you're staying at the mountain lodges, bring your own earplugs. thin walls and people getting up at 3am to hike to sunrise spots means you'll hear everything. the beihai hotel is the most convenient for bright summit but the shilin hotel near the west sea entrance is quieter and closer to that less crowded loop
honestly this is a solid list, one thing i'd add is if you're doing the summit sunrise, skip the packed Bright Summit and head to Lion Peak instead. it's a 15 minute walk from the lodges and way less crowded, plus you get that classic view of the peak lit up from behind. the mountain lodges are expensive and basic but honestly worth it to avoid the 4am cable car line, just book like 2 months ahead in summer
for tea tasting, the Xie Yuda place is good but the farmers up in the villages around Hongcun will sell you Maofeng for like half the price and it's fresher. just ask around near the old bridges, someone will prob offer u a cup first
also ngl the hot springs are nice but 198 is steep, there's a smaller local spot called Huoshan Hot Spring about 30 mins south that's only 80 and way more chill. less tourists too
solid list overall, one thing that's missing is the morning market in Tangkou town at the base of the mountain. it runs from 6am to 9am and you'll find locals selling fresh bamboo shoots and mountain mushrooms for like 10-15 RMB a bag. way cheaper than the tourist shops on the mountain and you can pack them as snacks for the hike
if you're into photography, skip the main sunrise spots and head to the Begonia Bridge area on the West Sea loop around 4pm. the light hits the granite faces at a perfect angle and you'll have the whole place to yourself while everyone else is queuing for the cable car down
also worth noting that the Taiping cable car closes earlier than Yungu, like 4:30pm vs 5pm. i learned that the hard way and had to hike down an extra hour in the dark. check the seasonal schedule before you commit to that route
