Good plan, I've lived here for a few years and it covers the highlights well. One thing I'd add is that the Evergreen Park on day 1 is actually connected to the coastal walkway that runs all the way west to the port area. If you've got the energy, walk it instead of sitting around, it's about 3km of paved path with locals flying kites and fishing off the rocks. The sunset view around 6pm there is better than at the clock tower honestly, less crowded and you can see the ships coming in.

For the Hainan Museum, the free guided tour at 2:30pm is worth timing your visit for. The English guide can be hit or miss but the Mandarin one knows all the stories about the pearl diving and Li people traditions. Also the air conditioning in that museum is freezing, bring a light jacket even in summer.

this is a really well thought out plan, you've clearly done your homework. one thing i'd add is that the clock tower area is great for photos around sunset too, not just the morning, the light hits the old buildings differently. also if you're at the hainan museum and get hungry, there's a tiny wonton shop just around the corner on hongcheng road that does these amazing shrimp wontons for 15 yuan, way better than anything near the tourist spots

for day 3, instead of the mangrove reserve you could check out the fuxing cheng area near the port, it's a restored dock with some cool cafes and a view of the boats. the coffee there is like 20 yuan a cup but it's worth it for the vibe. and the riyue plaza thing is fine but if you want real souvenirs the small lane off bo'ai road has a shop that sells handmade li brocade bags for like 40 yuan, way more unique than the mall stuff
