solid plan, really captures what makes guiping worth a visit. for west hill, if you're not dying to hike the whole thing, there's a cable car that runs from the east gate up to about two-thirds of the way. it's 40 yuan one way and saves you the sweaty climb, though you miss the little shrines along the trail. i took it once when my knees were acting up and still got the views fine
on the qian river walk, the grilled fish vendors are great but the sugarcane juice can vary wildly. the guy with the blue cart near the north gate bridge, not the red one, uses way less sugar and lets the natural sweetness come through. it's 5 yuan a cup and he'll add lime if you ask
for longtan, if you're driving or taking a taxi, the road gets pretty rough after rain. a sedan scraped its undercarriage on a pothole when i went, so maybe flag a taller car or a minivan from the station. the noodle shack the other person mentioned is legit but they also sell cold tea for 3 yuan, which is a lifesaver if you forgot extra water
hey this is a really thoughtful itinerary, covers all the bases without being too packed. one thing i'd add for day 1 is that the west hill trail can get super crowded by 10am, especially on weekends. if you're an early riser, starting at like 7am means you'll have the summit almost to yourself and the morning light over the river is gorgeous
for the tea plantation near dongta, the guided tour is fine but honestly you can just wander the terraces on your own if you're not into the scripted stuff. the real hidden gem is the little tasting room behind the main building, they'll let you try three or four different grades for free, just ask the lady at the counter
longtan on day 3 is a beast of a hike, bring more water than you think you need. there's a small noodle shack about halfway through the main loop, just past the second waterfall, they do a decent bowl for 12 yuan but cash only, no signal out there

I've done the Longtan hike a few times and one thing I'd mention is that the trail markers near the waterfalls can be a bit faded. I'd suggest downloading the park map photo on your phone at the entrance just to be safe, I spent an extra hour wandering once trying to find the shortcut back to the bamboo grove.
For the Qian River walk on Day 1, if you head a bit further south past the main lit-up area, there's a small dock where locals fish at night. One thing I'd add is that the small alleyways branching off the Ancient City area are where the real character is, especially the lane behind the old pharmacy on Dongmen Street. There's a tiny workshop there where a man still carves traditional ink stones by hand, and he's happy to talk about the process if you show interest. It's not listed anywhere and the stones make a unique souvenir that's way more interesting than the mass-produced stuff in the tourist shops.
one thing i rarely see mentioned is the morning market near the east gate of the ancient city, it starts around 6 am and wraps up by 9. you'll find farmers selling fresh vegetables and homemade tofu, plus a few stalls with sticky rice cakes wrapped in banana leaves for like 3 yuan each. it's way more authentic than the night market imo, and you get to see the city waking up before it gets hot
fwiw the river cruise is nice but if you're on a budget theres a free pedestrian bridge near the south end of the waterfront that gives you basically the same view. locals call it the "love bridge" cause couples hang locks there. i sat there for like 20 min watching the boats and the sunset and it was way more chill than the crowded cruise boats
