these are all solid takes. one thing i havent seen mentioned - theres a small art gallery inside the mountain resort called the wenjin ge, its tucked away near the northern edge of the lake district. used to store the complete library of the four treasures, now it has rotating exhibits of local painting and calligraphy. most tourists skip it cause its off the main path. entry is included in the resort ticket
also if you're here on a weekend, the morning tai chi groups near the resort's east gate are worth watching. they start around 6am and theres this one old guy who brings his pet mynah bird that mimics the music. totally random but adds to the vibe

also for late night food after drinking, the lamb skewer stalls on wulie road near the intersection with bishu are open til like 4 am and way better than the touristy places near the resort. 10 kuai for a bunch and they do a mean spicy sauce
