ngl this is a really well put together guide, i've been living here for work about two years now and you've got the rhythm down. one thing i'd add for day 1 is that the ancient lotus pond has a small tea house tucked in the back corner near the rock garden, most people walk right past it but they do a really good jasmine tea for like 20 yuan and you can sit and watch the koi for a bit. also if youre into calligraphy theres a old guy who sets up near the pond entrance on weekends selling brush paintings for like 10-30 yuan, got a nice little landscape piece from him last spring
for the qingxi mausoleum, the bus is fine but if you take the 2pm bus back you'll hit traffic coming into baoding around 4pm, the southern ring road gets backed up. i'd suggest catching the 1pm bus instead or just hanging out at the little noodle shop across from the entrance for a bit, they do a decent bowl for 12 yuan and the old lady running it is super nice. also the underground palace is cool but its pretty damp and dark, bring a jacket even in summer cause the temp drops like 10 degrees down there
the museum on day 3 is great but heads up they do a guided tour in chinese at 10am and 2pm that covers stuff the english plaques dont mention, worth timing your visit for that if you

For the Qingxi Mausoleum, the underground palace is impressive but the real highlight for me was the spirit way with the stone animals, especially the camels and elephants, they're massive and you can walk right up to them.
If you have an extra hour on day 1, the Ciyun Temple someone mentioned is real but I'd also recommend the Baoding Catholic Church on Yuhua Road, it's a French Gothic building from 1901 that's been restored and has a quiet garden out back. for day 2, the bus to qingxi is doable but theres a direct bus from the baoding central bus station that runs every hour until 2pm, not just route 10 or 15. i took it last year and it dropped me right at the entrance, took about 35 minutes. the botanical garden is nice but if you want a quieter spot, the renmin park on jiefang road has a lovely lotus pond and a small teahouse, its free and usually empty on weekday afternoons
one thing i'd swap on day 3 is the wanda plaza for the baoding art museum on yuhua road, its a 10 minute walk from the history museum and has some cool contemporary stuff from local artists, free entry and open until 6. the food street on kangtai lu is good but for a proper sit-down meal try the huayuan restaurant on dongfeng road, their braised pork is the best in the city and a full meal
