Is CSa bar in Sao Paulo worth visiting in 2026?

fmd_goodCSa · #saopaulo #weekend
I'm in Sao Paulo for a few days in March and keep seeing CSa mentioned. Is the bar actually worth a trip or is it more of a locals-only spot? Also what's the vibe and do I need to book ahead on a week… I'm in Sao Paulo for a few days in March and keep seeing CSa mentioned. No idea about CSa specifically but booking ahead anywhere on a weekend in SP is usually smart. Worst case you get turned away and find a boteco nearby, not a tragedy.

the boteco fallback is honestly the better night half the time, just check pinheiros spots fill up by 9 on fridays

Pinheiros does get packed by 9, though on weekends I'd say closer to 8:30 for the good spots along Rua dos Pinheiros.

8:30 tracks for friday but saturday those same spots hit capacity closer to 9:15 since the after work crowd is absent

Fair enough, a good boteco usually beats a hyped bar anyway. Not sure the Friday timing matters much in March though, it's low season.

booking ahead matters more for a place with a door policy, and csa is small enough that a saturday walk-in is a coin flip tbh

fmd_goodESTANPLAZA PAUILISTA · #paulista #receitafederal
Staying near Estanplaza Paulista and need to sort a CPF while I'm here. I got as far as booking an appointment but I'm stuck on which documents the Receita Federal actually wants from a visitor. the receita federal at república takes a passport copy & your brazilian address, but bring a bill in your name or they'll bounce u

arrow_drop_up 18 arrow_drop_down

passport copy needs to be notarized at a cartório first

arrow_drop_up 2 arrow_drop_down

yeah the bill thing trips ppl up every time
