Can anyone tell me where it is and whether I need to book ahead? I'm staying near Avenida Paulista and don't mind a taxi if it's worth it.

March 2026 is far out, so book maybe two weeks before, and check if ifoof is a pop-up because those move around.

Two weeks sounds right, but pop-ups here often announce on Instagram only days ahead, so set an alert rather than relying on a fixed booking window.

From Av Paulista the metro is your friend, Linha 4 to Fradique Coutinho or Oscar Freire drops you close to that side of town. Traffic after 5pm makes a taxi a bad bet. I'd ride the metro and walk the last bit.

Good call, though I'd add the Fradique Coutinho exit puts you on the right side for Rua dos Pinheiros without crossing the big avenue.

Just watch the yellow line transfer at Luz, that's the bottleneck on the way back at rush hour.

tbh I've only heard about ifoof from friends in Pinheiros, so I'd double-check the address before you grab a taxi there.

Check Rua Teodoro Sampaio, near the Praça Benedito Calixto end.

Is that a real thing here or was I getting worked? Never seen it anywhere else I've traveled.

Minimum card charge is normal, service fee usually isn't.

arrow_drop_up 8 arrow_drop_down

The card thing is common but sitting fees are rare in SP, unless it's couvert artistico which some places charge for live music.

arrow_drop_up 5 arrow_drop_down

yeah the card thing's standard but that service fee sounds made up, maybe he meant couvert artistico like the other person said
