Typical Souvenirs from Santiago (2026)

One thing the guide misses is how much the lapislazuli market has been flooded with fakes and dyed sodalite lately, especially the cheap stuff you see on Ahumada downtown. If you're buying a real piec...

Can someone identify a cafe?

Madame Claude is a solid shout, but if that's not it you might be thinking of a spot over in Kreuzberg around Graefekiez, a few places there had that same scrappy art-space feel with hammocks strung u...

Does your Japanese wife link your salary to your free time?

My fiancee for example says I can only play video games an hour a day on weekends. She also said if I double my salary, I can play video games whenever I want. She says it kind of jokingly though. I&#...
