solid list, honestly the biryani tip is spot on. hajiganj is good but if u want something even cheaper and still legit, the stalls near the old port road do a massive plate of kacchi for like 80 BDT around lunchtime, it's mostly laborers eating there so the portions are huge. another thing i'd add is that the CNG drivers near the railway station will try to charge u double, just walk a block away from the station and flag one down, it saves u like 50 BDT each time. the ethnological museum is worth the 20 BDT but go early in the morning before it gets crowded, the air conditioning is weak and it gets stuffy fast

yeah this is a great breakdown, i'd just add that if you're heading to the newer part of the city like nasirabad or khulshi, the green line bus isn't super helpful since it stops at GEC. for those areas, uber is usually the move, like 600-700 taka and straight to your hotel. also if you're flying out, the train from the city station to the airport is actually decent for like 20 taka if you pack light and have time to kill, i've done it a couple times and it's a fun little ride
