Recommendations for quiet places outside Berlin to go to during NYE?

If you want to stay properly far from everything, the Uckermark is the move. Take the RE3 from Hauptbahnhof toward Prenzlau or Stralsund, it's about 1h15 to Templin and the town itself is half empty i...

Sukkur

Best Food in Sukkur: A 2026 Guide

Good writeup, it covers more ground than most Sukkur food posts I've seen. One thing I'd add is the Thursday night scene at the shrine, where the seviyan and halwa stalls only appear that one evening...

What happens to a long-standing boat rental business after the owner's passing?

The practical problem is usually the boats themselves. If they're registered with the Wasserstraßen und Schifffahrtsamt, each one has a Kennzeichen tied to the owner, and transferring the fleet to a n...

Port-au-Prince

3 Days in Port-au-Prince: Itinerary 2026

The itinerary is solid, but I'd swap the Champs de Mars for the Marché de Delmas on day two if you're already doing the Iron Market on day one. Both are chaotic in their own way, but Delmas has more e...
