For a classic American breakfast, head to The Griddle at 123 Main Street, open daily from 7 AM to 2 PM, with pancakes starting at $8. If you prefer a quick coffee and pastry, stop by Blue Bottle Coffee at 456 State Street, where a cappuccino costs $4.50. **🌮 Street Food Favorites** The taco trucks along Broad Street are a local institution, especially El Taco Loco at the corner of Broad and Elm, serving al pastor tacos for $3 each from 11 AM to 9 PM. For a taste of the Caribbean, try the jerk chicken plate from Reggae Vibes food cart near the waterfront, priced at $10. These spots are cash-only, so come prepared. **🍝 Italian Classics** Bridgeport's Italian heritage shines at Trattoria Sorrento, located at 789 Oak Avenue, where handmade pasta dishes range from $14 to $22. The spaghetti alle vongole is a standout, and the restaurant is open for dinner from 5 PM to 10 PM Tuesday through Sunday. For a more casual option, grab a slice at Tony's Pizzeria on 321 Elm Street, where a large cheese pizza costs $12. **🍣 Asian Fusion Gems** Sakura Sushi at 654 Maple Drive offers an all-you-can-eat lunch for $25, with a wide selection of rolls and sashimi, open from 11:30 AM to 2:30 PM. For ramen, head to Menya Ramen House at 987 Cherry Lane, where a bowl of tonkotsu ramen is $15, and the broth simmers for 18 hours. Both places are popular, so expect a short wait during peak hours. **🍰 Sweet Treats** For dessert, visit Sweet Tooth Bakery at 246 Walnut Street, known for its red velvet cupcakes at $4 each, open from 8 AM to 6 PM. If you're in the mood for gelato, Gelato Paradiso at 135 Pine Street offers a rotating selection of flavors, with two scoops for $6. Both are perfect for a mid-afternoon pick-me-up. **🍺 Craft Beer and Bites** The Brewport Taproom at 864 Harbor Road pairs local craft beers with a menu of elevated pub food, including their famous beer-battered fish and chips for $16. It's a great spot to unwind after exploring the city. **🌆 Evening Dining Spots** For a memorable dinner, reserve a table at The Lighthouse Grill at 222 Shoreline Drive, offering seafood with a view of the harbor, where mains range from $25 to $40. Another upscale option is The Copper Kettle at 333 Birch Street, serving modern American cuisine with a tasting menu for $65 per person. Both require reservations, especially on weekends. **💵 Budget Bites** If you're watching your wallet, grab a hearty burrito at Chipotle's local counterpart, Burrito Bandito at 444 Cedar Street, with burritos starting at $7.50.
