**🏛️ Explore Historic Wooden Architecture** Tomsk is famous for its ornate wooden houses, and the best examples cluster around Krasnoarmeyskaya Street and the Tatarskaya Sloboda area. The House with Firebirds at Krasnoarmeyskaya 68 is a standout, with its intricate carvings and fairy-tale turrets. Many of these buildings are still private residences, so admire them from the street and respect the residents' privacy. For a deeper dive, the Museum of Wooden Architecture at Kirovsky Prospekt 7 offers context and exhibits on the craft. **🎓 Wander the University Quarter** Tomsk is a university town, and the main campus of Tomsk State University on Lenin Avenue is worth a stroll. The Siberian Botanical Garden nearby is a peaceful escape, open daily from 9 AM to 6 PM, with a small entrance fee of around 200 rubles.
